Being a Christian is very different from being a soccer player. We're not performing to stay on the team or impress the coach. Believing in Jesus as our Savior is the only way we are saved- it is not based on our performance at all. But being a Christian does involve practicing what we believe- getting our jerseys dirty. Just as very few people are in all around physical shape, there are few of us who are strong in all areas of spiritual maturity. In our next season of Next Gen Parent CG we look at important dimensions of spiritual maturity. Hopefully we can discover areas where our spiritual growth is progressing and those in which it is relatively undeveloped. Then we'll talk about how we can develop a workout program and help ourselves and our kids grow stronger in faith.
